As a result, we’re taking active steps to better your patients experience.

At Your Family Doctors at Erina, we carried out a patient survey (the Practice Accreditation and Improvement Survey) and asked for your honest opinions on the services we provide. We listened to your concerns and have taken the following actions in order to make improvements to patient care where you feel it would be most useful:

1. Waiting Times Our doctors and reception team have taken your feedback on board and will work more collaboratively to manage appointment schedules more effectively. We are committed to improving communication and will strive to inform you of any expected delays upon your arrival.
To help us run on time and provide the best possible care, we kindly encourage patients who wish to discuss multiple concerns to book a longer
(30-minute) appointment where possible.
2. Opportunity for Feedback We understand the importance of providing patients with a clear and convenient way to share their thoughts and experiences. To address this, we are introducing a QR code that will be displayed prominently in our waiting area, allowing patients to easily provide feedback at their convenience.
Additionally, we will include the QR code as a regular feature in our quarterly newsletter to ensure ongoing visibility and encourage continued engagement.
We value your input and remain committed to continuously improving our service.
3. After Hours Service Our after-hours service is provided by the Bridges After Hours GP Service, which supports our patients with urgent medical needs outside of our regular clinic hours. We regularly promote this service through our practice newsletter and website. However, we recognise that the signage in our waiting room can be improved, and we will be reviewing it to ensure this information is morevisible and accessible to all patients.
4. Information of Fees To enhance transparency, we will be updating the signage in our waiting are a to clearly dis play information about our practice fees. This information is also readily available on our website and accessible through the HotDoc booking system for patients who book online.
