Dr. Pethen arrived in Australia in 2008 having worked on the South Coast of the UK since 1996. She has been with this practice ever since.

She is passionate about the art of General Practice as a whole, but particularly enjoys paediatrics, adolescent medicine, and chronic disease management.

She is a regular at Kanwal Bridges After Hours and is doing sessions at Headspace, the young adult mental health service in Gosford, this year.

She is also an examiner for the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) and a GP supervisor.

In her spare time, Sam can be found enthusiastically cheering at the sidelines of footy fields, tennis courts, and beaches, supporting her three children. She also loves to horse ride… badly.
