Dr Cordowiner graduated from Newcastle University in 1995 and completed her GP training at Women’s Care and Family Practice in 1999 (now known as Your Family Doctors). Her main areas of clinical interest are Women’s care, paediatrics, preventative health and chronic disease management .
In addition to her work at the surgery, she works with Dr Bill Munro seeing patients post bariatric surgery.
She has previously been on the Antenatal Shared Care Steering Committee and works at Bridges After Hours GP Service where she has been a board member in the past. She is a member of the HNECCPHN Clinical Council and also the GP Collaboration Panel for the Local Health District and PHN. Dr Cordowiner is an examiner for the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) and a GP registrar supervisor.
She is mum to two lovely boys and was a skilled archer, previously competing with the Paralympic Team at the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Games.
